Gene-specific Cytosine Methylation Comparison in Grapevine

Cytosine methylation profiles around the differentially methylated gene Vitvi07g00227 in grapevine varieties. The plot compares methylation levels between wild and cultivated grapevine varieties within and surrounding the Vitvi07g00227 gene region, originally identified by Rodriguez-Izquierdo et al., 2024. The gene structure is visualized with exons, including 500 bp of upstream and downstream flanking regions. The plot was directly generated using using the bedGraph files from Bismark and GFF3 annotation file. chromoMap features: polyploidy, line plot, segment-annotation, double scale (absolute and relative), strand direction.
